Solution Architect (Java & Angular)

Must Have:

• Financial Services industry experience

• 5+ years of Solution Architect experience in a large, enterprise level environment

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise, application and information architecture design

• 5+ years of software development experience (Java AND Angular)

• Strong knowledge and work experience in:

• Internet facing applications

• Web technologies, Angular 9+, JS, CSS, Web applications, content management, etc

• Mobile iOS and Android apps, primarily hybrid apps

• Internet facing Application Security controls

• oAuth, OIDC, SAML, JWT

• API’s design, API gateway, Swagger, spring boot, java

• End to end enterprise solutioning (frontend to Enterprise services to Product system/3rd party)

• Breath of communication protocols

• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, databases, and data modeling techniques

• Strong experience with real-time and batch interface design and implementations

• Strong understanding of TOGAF framework

• Strong experience designing and implementing micro-services

• Strong experience with SOAP/XML and RESTFUL/JSON schema design and implementation

• Strong experience with database structures and relational database design and modeling

• Security concepts (like Authorization and single sign on)

• Designing and scaling applications

• Design Patterns and architectural patterns

• Agile background

• SOA

Nice to Have:

• AWS experience (certification preferred)

• ISAM knowledge

• FIS experience (For 1 of the 2 positions)

• TOGAF certification (or similar)

Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Solution Architect will be working on initiatives within multiple persistent agile teams

• Create and lead end to end enterprise technical solutions

• Produce conceptual and logical architectures to meet strategic business, including sequence diagrams and documentation, process flows

• Guide the agile and extended teams through the solution

• Ensure adherence of the solutions design with all relevant internal standards and external regulations

• Work with Enterprise Architecture, Security Architecture and the multiple Application SME that are impacted to create the end to end solution

• Participate in directional solution and feasibility assessments

• Present and defend the solution at various governance forums
