Solution Designer/Architect (Payments)

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Solution Designer within the Payments domain. You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in architecting, designing and delivering complex system integrations. Solution Designer experience must include extensive experience in designing of complex applications and infrastructure included but not limited to payment systems (OLB/Mobile, ATM, POS), financial transactions, foreign exchange, settlement and reconciliation,  tokenization, client centric processes, security and audit and fraud monitoring.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Expertise in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle, tools and methodologies including Object Oriented, Waterfall, Agile.

• Strong expertise in managing, leading and mentoring small to medium enterprise design team.

• Strong experience in microservices and API’s.

• Ability to provide hands on guidance to technical teams and able to articulate architecture and technical solutions at multiple levels including C-Suite audiences.

• Experience in delivery and architecture development methodologies and experience with delivery of architecture artifacts and deliverables.

• Minimum 5+ years experience in designing and implementing Payments solutions including implementation of business processes, business rules, workflows, business services, etc. is ideal although broader experience in banking and financial markets will be considered. Hands-on experience with one of the leading Payments solutions would be desirable.

• Experience with Payments Canada's Modernization implementation program will be a huge asset, ISO 20022
